SPIRIT Coordinator
Spirit Advisor are essential to the success of Welcome Week as they lead the #WhyIArt council and ensure the Humanities pride and spirit continue throughout Welcome Week. In order to do so, commitment is required over the summer to prepare signage, decorations, etc... Spirit advisors will be responsible for arranging a team of Reps who are able to help out during the course of the summer as needed. The most important aspect of the Spirit Advisor is to promote Navy Spirit, as part of the Exec team, you may also assist with various tasks to ensure Welcome Week runs smoothly.
FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR
Fundraiser Coordinator is responsible for the fundraising component of Welcome Week, which includes organized reps and fundraising initiatives throughout the summer and Welcome Week. This position is a part of the executive team for Welcome Week and will be assisted by a fundraising assistant, who is there to support you as well as the Executive team. This position requires leadership and planning and does include full commitment over the summer.
LOGISTICS OFFICER
Logistics officers are expected to dedicate time over the summer for the most part, but also typically assist the planners in the hiring process which takes place during the second half of the Winter Semester. This role requires a strong commitment and certain expectations will be held that may not necessarily apply to the rest of the repping team. That being said, ths role does offer immense benefits. Logistics Officers work closely with the planners and the rest of the executive team; they are in charge of administration work such as attendance for meetings, checklists for any information required and general administrative details.
FUNDRAISING ASSISTANT
As the fundraising assistant, you will be working closely with the Navy Nation Fundraising Coordinator as well as the Navy Nation Welcome Week Exec Team. You are responsible for helping organize fundraising events over the summer as well as during Welcome Week, looking after the money raised, and helping submit it to the chosen charity. Most importantly, as a fundraising assistant, you will inform reps about the selected charity and help motivate them to reach the team goal to support the cause and your selected charity.
